Sackville Wolves win their First East Coast Cup

On Friday night, the Sackville Wolves capped off a dominate season by beating the Easterns Shore Breakers 3 games to 1 in the East Coast Cup Jr A Female finals.  The Wolves rolled through the season with the prefect record and looked posed to capture their first championship.  The Breakers made sure it wasn't an easy road with the finals featuring two overtime games and a final minute victory.  After an overtime victory by the Breakers in Game 3 which feature the Breakers timing the game with 11 second remaining and scoring the over time winner with 44 second left in the overtime, which sent the series back to the Eastern shore.

In game 4 the Breakers came out flying taking a 4-1 lead at the 1st intermission, but the Wolves we determined to finish the series on Friday.  The Wolves #1 rated offense went to work scoring 11 unanswered goals lead by Captain and ECJLL points leader Bente Van Bilsen who finished the night with 4 points.  The Sackville Wolves captured the championship with a 12-6 victory over the Breakers in Game 4.  Congratulations, to the Sackville Wolves players, coaches and supporters on an amazing season and capturing there first championship.
