On August 9, 2025, ahead of Game 3 of the ECJLL Finals, the ECJLL Jr A Awards were presented.
1st Team All-Stars
The 2025 ECJLL Jr A regular season had a great group of players who brought their best to the floor all season long. With all the runners each playing every game in the regular season and the goalie having only missed 1 game, these all-stars showed their skills and provided terrific lacrosse action no matter which rink they were at. With a total of 244 points (116 goals, and 196 assists) amongst them all, and a goalie who played 846 minutes (just over 14 hours) between the pipes, the 2025 1st Team All-Stars are:

This year’s ECJLL 2025 2nd Team All-Stars winners a roster of players who always show up and stand out, adding to the big plays and big saves, rounding out the skills and a team’s overall success, with games played averaging at 13 regular season games each, collectively earning 158 points (72 goals & 86 assists), and a goalie who stood strong in front of the net for 735 minutes and had 455 saves. The 2nd Team All-Star line up are:

Coaching Staff of the Year
The ECJLL Jr A 2025 Coaching Staff of the Year saw a new head coach on the bench with some strong assistances always there to maintain this team’s 2024 successful season and parlaying it into a fantastic 2025 season. With 11 wins, 4 losses, 158 points scored and only 99 points against in the regular season, holding strong through 5 games in the semi-finals and making a repeat in the finals, the Coaching Staff of the Year for 2025 is Sackville Wolves, with Head Coach Ben McKay, assisted by Mitch Broussard, Mark Seward, Kyle Peace, General Manager, Jay Titchmarsh and trainer, Chris Clarke.
Indigenous Player of the Year
The Indigenous Player of the Year award goes to an ECJLL player who identifies with the indigenous ancestry and who exemplifies a connection to the culture and the game, volunteerism in community, good sportsmanship, and leadership on and off the floor. This award is presented in memory of the league’s first Indigenous director, Steve Morrissey and the 2025 recipient is Jeremy Copp, St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels.
Rookie of the Year
Every year, a new crop of players join the ECJLL as rookies and some of those rookies make some big impacts for their teams. This year’s recipient of Rookie of the Year was drafted 3rd in the 1st round, played 13 regular season games, earning 40 points (17 goals and 23 assists) and is known for his infectious smile, positive attitude on & off the floor. The ECJLL Jr A 2025 Rookie of the Year goes to Macgregor Mills, St. Margaret’s Bay Rebels.
Goalie of The Year
The ECJLL Jr A 2025 Goalie of the Year has been a true iron man in the last two seasons for his team, made some huge saves and taken some big hits, which he shakes off and continues to stay strong between the pipes. This season has played every game every minute for his team with the exception of 4 periods, has a regular season record of 7 wins, 5 losses, allowing only 106 goals in. The 2025 Goalie of the Year is Keigan Horne, Dartmouth Bandits.
Defensive Player of the Year
This year’s Defensive Player of the Year played every game this season, made it hard for his opponents to get to the net or to get a good shot off and score, while averaging a point a game himself. The recipient of the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year is Cooper Puma, Sackville Wolves.
Offensive Player of the Year
The 2025 ECJLL Jr A Offensive Player of the Year played all 15 regular season games, leading his team in goals with 45 goals and assisting on 26 goals for his team, this year’s recipient of Offensive Player of the Year is Riley Bissett, Saint John Rapids.
Top Scorer
This year’s Top Scorer put 33 balls past an opposing goalie and assisted on 69 other goals, earning the award for the 2025 ECJLL Jr A Top Scorer is Drew Mason, Saint John Rapids.
