The East Coast Junior Lacrosse League (ECJLL) unveiled a new schedule to introduce a Game of the Week format for its co-ed lacrosse division during the 2025 season.
The East Coast Junior Lacrosse League features the best junior aged (17-21) lacrosse players across the Maritime provinces. Several of our league alumni have earned pro tryouts and others have gone on to build careers in the NLL. In a game that is fast paced, full of entertainment and fuelled by adrenaline and passion, it was time to take our product to a broader audience, using digital technologies. Our 2025 season will showcase some of our region’s best talent with the introduction of a Game of the Week matchup, streamed live on YouTube.
While there are still some technical arrangements to be worked out at a few of the home arenas, the tentative schedule was released today:

Canada‘s National Summer sport has seen a resurgence since we welcomed the Halifax Thunderbirds pro lacrosse team to town. Our numbers are growing, our fan base is growing, and this provides a new opportunity for local advertisers to get involved in the game, and reach new audiences through the Game Of The Week series. Our club teams have long relied on local sponsorships to help fund their seasons, and this initiative will help the club give back to local businesses.
